CASEY King-s lifestyle was -nonexistent- when he weighed 823lbs. The 38-year-old said he had a food addiction and spent most of his days playing video games. Casey was motivated to lose weight by the birth of his nephew and being confronted by doctors telling him he would die if he did not make some serious changes. He managed to lose some weight before he went on to star in TLC-s -Family By The Ton- and got weight loss surgery. Casey said: -Choosing to have the surgery is by far the best decision of my life. - He has continued to lose weight by completely transforming his diet and lifestyle. He now weighs about 245lbs - he has lost over 550lbs. He said: -I don-t regret being that big, I appreciate the person I am today because of what I went through. - As a result of this incredible weight loss, Casey has loose skin and is fundraising for surgery to remove it. He said: -I-m not done with my transformation. - Casey said the weight loss has made him a more confident person and it has meant he-s doing things he felt he wasn-t able to before including driving and working. It-s also completely changed his love life as he is now dating. He said: -There-s just so much more out there to this world that I never experienced throughout many, many years in my life. Now that I-ve got a taste of it I just don-t want to stop

He is very handsome and has experienced a lot of struggles and overcame them! He will find a wife and she will be very loved and blessed. I wish him all the best with the next steps of his wonderful journey! Congratulations on everything you've accomplished.

The amount of emotional/psychological stuff that is behind this stuff is very apparent in this video. I am sorry about the struggle of the excess skin. Is it possible to do a Go Fund Me or similar fundraising? He-s not a cute puppy, but he is as deserving!

100% -gillianbc he will! The loose skin can be difficult, but honestly such a small thing. You are healthy now and very handsome inside and out. It is your battle scars from a war where you won the victory! We celebrate you man.

I am proud of this guy losing excess weight. I hope that he becomes a role model and inspirational speaker for other people dealing with weight issues and being addicted to unhealthy food.

I hope he'll start a gofundme or something to remove the excess skin. I know having that much skin bothers him and can also cause rashes and yeast infections.

I'm absolutely blown away that he was able to lose all that weight. His whole demaneour and outlook has changed dramatically too. Utterly thrilled for him.

I thought casey was 711 at his highest but his highest was actually 845. He lost 600 lbs from his highest weight. That's a lot of weight to lose.

Congrats man for losing weight. I started keto in 2014, and have kept it and continue losing. It was hard, but I relearned to shop and bake.

He-s my all time favorite my 600 pound life ppl. Dude has the best personality, even when TLC tried to turn him into a selfish brat lol.

If you can-t afford it, start a go fund me for your skin removal surgery maybe? But don-t listen to the haters, you look great!

I remember seeing videos about this guy and his lifestyle when he was obese, so glad to see him the way he is now

Imagine how much money the TV show made from his story- they could go in 50% on his skin removal, gofundme on the rest.

How do you even have enough money to buy all that food? I am always starving and I spend 200 dollars a week on food

I feel like the loose skin should be treated as a trophy for having the commitment and dedication to losing weight

Glad to see a successful weight loss. It took a lot of work. Hope you continue to succeed. Tina, Al's wife

If there's ever a GoFundMe for his surgery, I'll donate because Casey is inspirational and he deserves it!

Why is the production company not covering his skin surgery as part of a -Where Are They Now? - episode?
