Hello to both of you I think this theory is a little twisted. My name begins with an S and I was a passionate student involved in my studies. However, I would have liked my name to have started with an A. when I was a teenager, because the teachers used to give us our copies by alphabetical number and I had to wait a long time before I knew my grade and got my copy....

True ! not to mentioned to die from nervernousness while passing exams! and having the leftover of everything in the class ! and it was the same reason I was number one in my classes as it was the only way to force my teacher to notice the last name on the list and admire them !

Thanks BBC for the useful lesson . But from the beginning I know well that the English alphabet came from Latin alphabet not ancient Egypt . I think that's because the Egyptian ancient writing used images in writing not alphabet. Could you please explain ?

For me , it's an advantage if your name begines with a later letters in the Alphabet. Teachers always ask the one whose name begins with letter A
