The team tests the Wolverine's super sense of smell, can he sniff out meat buried deep within the snow. Taken from Animal Super Senses. goognam: animal's superior sense of smell over humans is a myth. Yes some mammals have more sensitive olfacory organs but it is always grossly exaggerated. Our noses are capable to detect very thin smells too but our brain lack the practice and the focus on smell so we just ignore it because our food comes in supermarkets and does not require us to search for it. If a human was born having to gather and hunt his brain would easily develop similar sense of smell than most mammals and better than dogs.

She walked to and from the hole, carrying the meat to the hole and carrying a meat scented Shovel, Gloves and wearing meat scented Boots from the hole. I would think that would make this Test a no brainer where meat would be found for most scavenger/carnivores.

Well the shovel she used to bury the fish, had fish on it, so the top layer of snow had fish on it. its not that surprising he was able to find it. its like getting poop on your toilet lid, and then flushing, and wondering why you can still smell poop lol.

This is dumb shit. Looks at this girl. Who is she? She had the meat on top the snow before it was baried, the wolverine can smell that a mile away. On top of that she is walking all over the place. The wolverine can sense that.

I wish the someone would take the time to measure the bite force of a wolverine, I would guess their bite strength gotta be stronger than that of Tasmanian devils and stronger than that of lions.

Who do you guys think would win a pit bull or a wolverine? I understand wolverines can be very strong creatures but knowing how pit bulls just don't stop biting i'm not that sure.

I wouldn't be surprised to find the cause of avalanches is a wolverine bouncing up & down & making a racket. animals & their intelligence, abilities, guile & cunning are amazing.

Great job Wolverine. But i think having the meat on the snow before burying it in the hole, and using the shovel that picked up the meat, was a bit on the cheat side.

My sense of smell is equal like this majestic King of the North's! I can find a Pig Roast with potato and barbecue sauce at for miles away!

Wolverines can sniff meat/food 20 feet under the snow, she dig a whole like 2 feet deep.
That wasnt even a challenge.
