The problem is bigger prey like the Hare are incredibly agile and can run up to speeds of 60 km per hour. If this wolf pack are not going to go hungry, they will need to hunt as a unit

The hare has a very bad sense of directions. Too many times it keeps running into the wolves wasting energy. Wolves were so composed even at that speed making only the necessary moves. Maybe the panic lead to making poor choices for the hare.
