Congratulations, you performed a great creative work, and this wasn't done on the fly. I think people who get enthusiastic about such videos should get some more information how it was done, how many failures you got to overcome etc. etc. Most of the people think, that you only got to put the camera into position and get it running. They do not have any idea that all this is very time consuming and some times very frustrating.

This scene with the walruses made me cry it was very emotional for me to see how the animals were suffering because all the ice had melted! This is a strong evidence to see what we humans is doing to our beautiful planet!

That shot is so incredible. Glad they showed the behind the scenes. Love how the BBC is always pushing wildlife photography to showcase the splendor of the natural world at its very best!

Does anyone here know. Are we not going to be able to buy Blue Planet II, until after all of the episodes have aired? I would love to be able to buy a digital copy right now, if I could.

Wonderful filming and proof that the ice cap matters. Send to all politicians who say it global warming isn't a fact and ice caps don't matter anyway. Brilliant work

What camera did you use with the megadome?
What lenses?
Can you provide links to the dome itself?
Was it specially made for your crew?
Really cool

Will be more difficult with the climate change for a Walrus mama to find ice strong enough to let her and the baby rest. So great to be human.

Can you imagine in a few years, those huge cameras will be very small, similar to phones and computers from today compare to ones in 1990s

The residents of this underwater abyss are waiting for the photoshop department to make this interesting for the couch potatoes.
