After bouncing back from the brink of extinction, the fur seals of South Georgia are facing new challenges that are threatening their numbers Xime: Sad but true, the supermothers mentioned will produce healthier offspring, those that require less food will be better off, those that can take advantage of the overcrowded beach will manage to live to adulthood. It's natural selection at its finest.

Why not reallow the hunting of the seals, obviously in a well regulated manner similar bear hunting in British Columbia, in order to help keep populations from overcrowding and essentially saving the seals from themselves?

ever sense humans were alive animals are so close to extinctions animals in the ocean some part of the ocean has been discover and there could be animals down there that can be close to extinction cause of trash

Stress is good, let them evolve! You'll eventually get two populations. Big seals that attack large prey, and small ones who attack small prey. This is how evolution starts, and it is not pretty.

Glad Ill be dead in 50 years when Climate Change is really affecting humans. Like, why would you even want to have children now? So naive.
