I watched this both on a high-end gaming PC and on VR goggles and was quite disappointed for something coming from the BBC. The graphics were at a level of games from the 1990's and if you are going to fly though landscape you should not be passing straight through the ground or mountains. That absolutely destroys the sense of realism I usually love the BBC's programming but of late some of their property sites such as BBC Click, BBC REEL and BBC Earth seem like they've lost something and are just rushing videos out the door to have content on YouTube.

While this is really well detailed and fun, it really doesn't feel like it's actually been rendered in high quality. On top of that, the path of the camera was bad as it frequently moved through objects.
Nice effort, but if you do stuff like this in the future, please improve.

Just because your can do VR360 doesn't mean that you should apply it to everything, so what's the point of the posting it; what are we to take away from the 360 display in the BBC Earth display?

You'd think with the license money they could manage better graphics. Honestly this looks laughably bad. It looks like those joke videos with the purposely bad CGI.

When is this series premiering in India? The website said 13th Jan, but on 13th Jan 'south Pacific' was airing. waiting for this series anxiously.

Who is the author of this project? I love it, I'd like to see more. I tried doing a search on google but didn't find anything useful.

It may have been a pretty cool idea on paper or in someone else's head, and why was I inside a bunch of rocks a lot of the time?
