Chuck Norris will always be a great action star. I won't say he's a great actor, because he's as wooden as a carved blackbear at an antique shop. But his movies are fun to watch. My favorite films of his has to be the Missing in Action franchise, where he plays colonel James Braddock, named after the former Heavyweight boxing champion of the world. He was Rambo before Rambo was a thing. And lets not forget Lone Wolf McQuade. His final duel with David Carradine was worth the movie ticket alone, although my favorite scene of the film has to be when he's buried alive in his Ford Bronco, and he digs himself out of it using the nitro turbo of his bronco out of the hole. Thats another great movie of his visual library.

His tournament record is estimated to be 183-10-2, though opinions often vary on this to a significant degree. He won at least 30 tournaments. He won the World Professional Middle-weight Karate Champion title in 1968 and held it for six consecutive years, until age 34. Chuck retired from competition in 1974 with a record of 183-10-2 and was named fighter of the year by Blackbelt Magazine.

Also, M. Vic Moore claims to have defeated Norris. or that it was clear he did but that htere was a discrepanciy among the judges. That even Norris admitted he -lost-to Moore.

These include a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from the Machado family, and a black belt in Judo.
