Many years ago, before HP, I was living in Dublin and was passing by Trinity College when a man and I crashed into each other, shit flying everywhere, and as we gathered our wits and met our eyes to apologize, there in front of me stood Alan Rickman, I knew him as Ivanhoe, who my mother just loved, and I was gobsmacked, he was very kind and gentle, and my mother was tickled pink when I told her about it!

My Favorite Movie starring Alan in is. Galaxy Quest Taa daaadaaaaaaa lol. To be honest I found Alan a tad boring somewhat typecast-ed. His performance in Galaxy Quest was not only comedy genius but an eye opening lesson into his pure talents. who would have thunk xxx RIP Alan Thank You xxxx

I loved Die Hard and Rickman was brilliant in it! I didn't realize that was his first roll in a movie and one would not know by his acting in the roll. He was the perfect choice and carried the film. I think it goes without saying he was brilliant in Harry Potter as well.

Willis was so bad in Die Hard I was disappointed each time he survived. Rickman made the film. Alan elevated the overall impression of the film to the point that Willis' puerile smugness didn't matter.
