To Kill a Mockingbird, Part 1 - Crash Course Literature 210 Mitch: You mentioned your problems with the book are that the Yules are one-sided, villainous characters and secondly that a rich, white man is the hero. I would challenge that your view of rich, white men is one-sided as if it is inconceivable that in your view, a person from that demographic is incapable of being heroic. Your two issues are contradictory to one another. I kindly ask that you reread this book and consider its message.

Ok, this is the first video I had to put to a lower speed to somehow comprehend it. And that makes me a bit worried how I will comprehend the book itself. That being said, this video helped a lot to understand what is generally going on etc, so thank you very much! :)

As many times as I have been through this book, I don't recall a single -clue- to make me think Mayella was raped by her father. Never heard this bit of speculation before. How about you folks?

Well in 2019 we're all about the zombie apocalypse. So I propose a sequel for that daring writer who shall go where every other series has gone before.
'To resurrect a Mockingbird'.

I liked your video. It was informative. But I wish you had elaborated a bit more and lingered over the significance and meaning of the title.
