Aggression vs. Altruism: Crash Course Psychology #40 Marty: Thank you for making this series, I'd enjoyed learning all about the human mind and how we all think, behave, and why we all need to interact with everyone. Even though we all have a difference in opinions, we can all learn and understand each other and ourselves, without basically destroying each other. This was a great last episode to watch with the good message of Altruism. I sort of agree with the message of Alturism with the video except the part that describes -Alturism as expecting the people we help will go on to help others-, part of the message should include that we help others without expecting anything in return.
Other than that, Thank you for making psychology fun to learn about: .

Altruism is completely different from cooperative or mutually beneficial relationships. Altruism does exist in nature, but it is based on the selfishness of the DNA, in other words, we are only altruistic towards people who have partially or fully the same DNA as ours, Parents to children, or in the case of bees, they share the exact cloned copies of DNA.

-The world will be a delightful place, if altruism would be the standard for human behaviour- yeah. yeah, as millions of altruist of communism, socialism and religion proves it, the world would be a delightfuly DEAD quiet and peaceful place on earth.
Shame thou, guess humans are too selfish to live, not like Life of themselves are important.

Seriously, are the people over at thought cafe just really big adventure time fans, because they seem to sneak a character from that show in a large portion of Hank's episodes. Not that I'm complaining, that show is fantastic.

Shared goals may help to unite two groups but sometimes there is a problem when the 3rd group gets brushed as the -Enemy- and gets falsely blamed.
We may see this happening in politics or in other places.

Thank you for keeping the fire alarm sound effect low. Unintentional altruism! My dog has a very adverse reaction to that sound so we both appreciate it!
