I do not. CANnot believe the idea of our solar system being 4. 6 billion years old. I just don't buy it, and cannot force my psyche to accept it at all. However, I would be stunned and flabbergasted if we were able to decisively prove that there was NO LIFE in our solar system other than on Earth. I would have a really hard time with that. I'm not talking intelligent life, and I'm thinking microbial life, but still life. However, given what we've already learned about our solar system, I do believe that we can rule out the possibility of small animal life in our solar system.

Fantastic summary! I'd never want to live forever, but I'd love to be able to somehow -return- and check out the Universe and humans at points in the future. If I could return in a hundred or more years when we hopefully send craft to Europa, I'd love to be able to -return- just to find out what humanity learns from exploring the oceans of Europa. It could be nothing but a frigid lifeless ocean, but it could hold life.

I'm really thankful that he said, -We think Earth's life originated in salty ocean water. - They didn't sate this theory as fact as most science-oriented documentaries do, even when they can neither confirm nor offer any tangible substantiation. Saying -I think- or -We believe- shows some integrity that most educational programs or documentaries don't show when they're talking about the origins of life on Earth.

Life, even single celled organisms need one other thing to begin what we call life and that is a means of obtaining an energy source. On Earth it was caused by the tremendous electrical discharges from the cloud cover hitting the primordal soup of Earth's surface. It took billions of strikes before the right amount of an electrical discharge spark created the means to cause the first DNA molecule to replicate itself.

Jupiter has 67 moons and each moon give /reflect sun light to Jupiter? Oh, that mskes Jupiter the brighest object in the universe. How much is the intensity of the reflected light to jupiter from each moon of jupiter? And how much is the net light intendity ftom the moons of jupiter on jupiter?
Comon, man! There is no volcano in space and there US no planets and moons otbitting planets. We have only one moon.

Liquid water is not the only -habitable zone-, water is the 3rd most abundant molecule in the universe, the universe is sopping wet. Why don't they ever mention that? I hate it when they only tell you enough to keep you wanting to fund them further. I want to fund Astronomy and Astrophysics too but they gotta tell all, not just what gets them more funding.

Does Ganymede's electromagnetic field shield the planet well enough from radiation from Jupiter that colonies could be established there? Could it be warmed up by diverting one or two of the smaller moons into a collision with it? Looking forward to future missions to Jupiter's moons.

I been said y'all need to consider a different type of life. y'all looking for our life on other planets. But thats what it takes for us to live there. It may take different qualities and needs for other life to thrive on their planets

It would be weird if there weren't microbes there. Just as it's weird that the galaxy appears to be devoid of other intelligent life, which is probably a good thing.
