Blushing results from increased blood flow to the sebaceous glands which respond to the heat by secreting sebum onto the skin surface. Sebum is a pheromone picked up by kissing, so blushing is to get the skin ready to be kissed. The communication -function- of blushing is only noticed in white people, so your suggestion that a visual signal is presented is erroneous.
