Today, John Green is going to be your substitute teacher as we dive into the world of sports! Now -sports- is a pretty broad genre of game, we probably couldn-t even cover them in an entire series, but today we-re going to do our best to look at the origins of sports as they trace their histories back the Olympics (and even a little earlier, and look at how the rise of national pride and gaming communities has led us to the cultural behemoth of the FIFA World Cup. It-s a lot to cover, but we-re do our best to answer the big question for you non-sports-loving-gamers out there along the way: why do we love sports anyway? I have been watching the first few episodes of Crash Course Games with Andre. Seeing John Green as a temporary host was one of the few surprises that are nice, like an unexpected tax refund, or.
ran out of things that are nice ideas.

People have killing other people over sports for centuries. One of the greatest massacres in Byzantine history was the Nike riot over the outcome of a chariot race.
Also, unlike video games, players of physical sports have a much higher rate of off field violence and criminality than non players.

The thing about sports is that it's a big family that you could lean on and trust. Unless you live in America and your all alone waking up at 5: 30 in the morning to watch a 0-0

and now FIFA games and their Ultimate Team with their lootboxes are gambling devices designed to get kids to empty their parents bank accounts.

Where is Jhon Green from the past? I love hearing Jhon say 'Mr Green Mr Green'. I believe nerds will take over this world soon. DFTBA

Why is everyone in this comments section trashing Liverpool and not the Florida Gators? They're clearly the true enemy here.

ON EPISODE 1 I COMMENTED SAYING ANDRE'S THE TYPE TO GO TO ANIME CONS.
I WAS RIGHT, lol. Maybe one day I'll see him at one
