four of my maternal grandmother's siblings have died of Alzheimer's and is't currently affecting one of her sister's. This also affected her mother and Grandfather. She is the oldest one at 86 years old and she is aware that she could be next as she's naturally deteriorating with age. My mother being at risk due to her being in her 50's scare me so much. My grandma, mom, sister and myself have considered euthanasia in case, but you cannot qualify if you are mentally ill and unable to make rational choices. this infuriates me because my grandma sees her sister suffering, not being able to talk and at the point where she only remembers her. The law should at least allow people with advanced mental illnesses like Dementia and Alzheimer's to end their life through the consent of their caretakers.

This was well said and very netrual i personaly believe that it should be legal to terminate pregnancy if the childs quility of life is in question or if the parents dont want to go through it. Parents who dont want the child will have their reasons if they believe they are unfit. when it comes to the euthanase everyone has that right to i would rather go out on my own terms surronded by family and friends. If you just make it illegal people will still try and find a way and some of those ways may be unpleasent or not do the job properly or humanly. Dont want an argument i will not reply to any for or againt this just wanted to share my point that is all.

I noticed his arguments had a lot to do with pain, but most abortions in the United States have little to do with avoiding pain for either the mother or fetus. It's simply a convenient afterthought for failing to use contraception. The child would be healthy and the mother -could- raise the child, but chooses not to. -
(I'm not advocating for or against pro-choice; just mentioning that a large swath of abortions don't fall into any argument presented in this video)

I really hate to be that guy but yes Personhood is subjective. According to my beliefs a fetus isn't a person. Even if it was a person I still shouldn't be forced to sustain life using my body like how I can't be forced to donate my kidney to save a life. If I want to abort my baby I should be allowed to for whatever reason just like I can cut my finger for whatever reason at anytime I like.

There are those who wants the extermination of the human race because they themselves view humans as evil. And they also believe only those who are willing to get euthanized later in life should be allowed to live until they themselves get euthanized. So mass genocide is on their minds. Some wants involuntary euthanasia to end poverty around the world. Keep that in mind.

it's like killing a fly who knows nothing they won't even know they died, why make a child grow up with a parent who doesn't want them who will abuse them and use them, if they don't value the childs life and want to abort, I say let them its save the child from growing up with that kind of person who will just torture them

What better way to express your personal autonomy than to completely get rid of it by killing yourself. It's like saying in the name of financial freedom you take away the means by which you have financial freedom, which is your money. Hooray for financial freedom! I have nothing to exercise financial freedom with!

To be fair I am borderline crippled. Living on SSI is not fun. Would've rather been aborted. Cant be loved by a stranger if your tore up from the floor up. The moral thing at least in my eyes would've been to terminate me. But i am here regardless of circumstances

I noticed this video following a formula: (1) raise a super-controvertial question without an easy answer. (2) point out that a certain type of argument doesnt work here. (3) Point out where that argument does work, thus effectively changing the subject.

Its difficult to have a solid outlook on this cause every case is different and until we go through what these people go through, we should hold off on our judgements. Regardless I have heard of any life termination decision being taken lightly.
