When the Protestant Reformation broke out in Western Europe, the Catholic Church got the message, at least a little bit. Pope Paul III called a council to look into reforming some aspects of the Catholic Church and try to stem the tide of competing Christian sects popping up all over the place. The Council of Trent changed some aspects of the organization, but doubled down on a lot of the practices that Martin Luther and other reformers had a problem with. Today you'll learn about the Council of Trent, the rise of the Jesuits, and Saint Teresa of Avila

What I know is Christianity is not our religion. Abrahamic religions can't be our real identity. Abrahamic religions are Arabic Semitic religions. We are Indo-European Aryans. We must follow our ancestral Pagan religions and Graeco-Roman philosophies. By the way, Capitalism or Mercantilism existed long before Christianity Greece and Rome with India and Egypt, Syria and Phoenicia. Greek schools of thoughts are still valid.

Religions should quit trying to reform and disband instead. Unfortunately for their deluded and dishonest followers they are run by dishonest and deluded leaders who love pumping their rotten flavour of shite into young, vulnerable minds. much like the La La 'Liberals' with their awful consumerist neo-religion. True capitalists worship capital over god, anyhow.

I had a professor who referred to the Jesuits as -The Shock Troops- of the Europeans. They would often go in before the Spanish / Portuguese and be untouchable bastions of trade and European education to influence the natives

You say the Jesuits fought against corruption. However they pledged themselves to all manner of evil and death, lies and the worship of power to meet their goals. They were hardly paragons of virtue.

reminder: the heretics were right
Many of the heretic movements actively included women as equals (look up the Cathars, for example) or actively resisted feudal monarchy (like the Bogomils)

Wait, why didnt the Jesuits in Japan study Japanese and their cultures and gain their trust and a proper place in Japanese Society before preaching to them about the Gospels?

The counter reformation pushed the European artists to make the most beautifull pieces of art ever made! Like if you agree!
