Squirrels are fairly intelligent. They can be innovative to find what they need. They are a rodent. A squirrel is a small mammal and is part of the Sciuridae family. They are also part of the scientific order Rodentia. These tree-scaling animals are medium-sized rodents in a family that also includes chipmunks, marmots, prairie dogs, flying squirrels, ground squirrels and tree squirrels.
Squirrels fear humans because of our size, but they are friendly toward humans. A squirrel will never bite a human unless it feels threatened. If a squirrel gets very used to a human it will approach them and if very trusting will climb up on to a person for friendly attention, and or to get food. Squirrels have a deathly fear of dogs, cats, snakes, bears, fox, coyotes, owls, and some types of birds for very good reason. They generally get along being present with raccoons, skunks, and groundhogs.
Some of their favorite foods include acorns, walnuts, hickory nuts and Osage orange fruits. They may also feed on wild tree fruits, nuts, and tree buds when food is scarce later in winter. If very hungry squirrels will eat some types of vegetables. These would be beans, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, apples, pears, and sometimes tomatoes. If you have a vegetable garden it is best to sprinkle rodent repellent around your garden. The repellent is made with various types of scented herbs and hot peppers that rodents find very annoying.
If feeding squirrels they like to eat acorns, whole roasted pumpkin seeds, and almonds are the healthiest, followed by hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, English walnuts, pecans, pistachios, and peanuts, in that order. - Avoid: Cashews, sunflower seeds, dried corn, pine nuts (will cause severe calcium loss) -.
If squirrels get very hungry, they can eat mice. Mice will provide them with fats, protein, and carbs which squirrels need in order to be healthy. Squirrels can also consume debris from the animal carcass.
Never feed squirrels salted or sugary (sweet) foods, junk food such as potato chips, sun flower seeds, or dried corn. Avoid feeding them pasta, candy, cookies, granola, bread, granola, or any types of human junk foods. Over the long term these can be harmful for the health of squirrels.

So being completely polite at a challenging job at work might be counterproductive? I'd challenge that warning of raging against vending machines is a practice of legal liability for a reason: If vending machine companies didn't promenently show the dangers of a raging customer being crushed by a machine, then they'd be liable. When you're that angry, do you stop to read ANYTHING in the moment? or do you just tip the machine: the evidence says the squirrel will tip the vending machine all the time.

Interesting questioning pertaining to evolution but the hypothesis has no evidence to support it. Sure, she could be right and frustration does help animals solve their dilemma but it could also be a handful of other reasons; the question itself could be considered a loaded one such that frustration might not be beneficial from an evolutionary standpoint. Sometimes traits that are not beneficial make it through the next update in a species and continues to linger up to present time.

Pitching a fit is NOT what the squirrel is doing. It simply shows that their brain is moving. You ignorant humans have no idea if it means they are 'mad' or 'upset' or anything. it just means there is action and heavy thinking occuring.

I watch squirrels got nuts trying to empty a bird feeder thats squirrel resistant, made to release one seed at a time, but squirrels like to fill their mouth pouches with as much food as the can get, and that pisses them off. lol

Can ground squirrels flag their tail to show mood too?
And I'm still wandering how peanut flowers above the plant turn into fruits below the plant.

Well it doesn't make sense from an evolutionary stand point. Makes much more sense that the animal was created with emotions. Happy, sad, anger.

I love all the videos made by Deep Look but they are too short. You should do longer videos with a more in depth presentation.
