How long does it take to film a decorator crab putting on its seaweed hat? Hint: It's days, not hours. The Deep Look team is back with a second behind the scenes video! Get to know host Lauren Sommer and producers Gabriela Quiros, Josh Cassidy and Elliott Kennerson as we put together our episode on decorator crabs and reflect on the joys and challenges of making nature films

I am studying the Deer Creek watershed in Nevada County, CA. Building a website with pages for different plants, animals, and history from the area. Your videos have inspired (and will be included on) LOTS of new pages. THANK YOU for the beautiful productions and subject matter. I'm excited to share the interesting facts and life forms with my neighbors!

Dear deep look team,
You guys are awesome. If and for any reason you decide to make some of your amazing videos inside Egypt, be sure that a big fan and friend is ready to do whatever it takes to facilitate your work. I am positive that you know Egypt is one very unique winter resort to many bird species. I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm on a Deep Look marathon with my 4 year old son, who also seems to LOVE all your tiny movies about tiny things.
We watched 60 or so of your Documentaries in 2 days. We will be very sad when we have watched all of them, because the DeepLook content is so unique, we will miss you!

Hey guys what about a video that let us see the tiny structures of gecko's hands that let them walk on every surface? Loved all your videos and also these behind the scenes are so interesting! Thank you for all your hard work

Thanks for all your hard work in delivering outstanding educational nature programs. Can you explore the microscopic? In particular, I'm really keen to learn more about marine zooplankton.

Love Laurens voice! The slightly cheeky tone adds so much to the videos! Obviously every element makes a complete video brilliant! Just wanted to mention Laurens lovely voice: )

Such an amazing job. I could only imagine what it's like to be focused on these critters rather than a 9 to 5 just angry at traffic and people. I would love to be on a team like this
