Got bitten by one of these critters and I almost died due to the allergic reaction. My face was swollen and I was gasping for air. I'm from the Philippines, less than a kilometer from BGC. We had our house cleaned several times but they seem to be coming from elsewhere. There are tons of construction work in BGC and if you look carefully enough when walking around the building construction sites there you may come across one of these. They seem to want to stay on those warm, damp and dirty areas. Be careful out there guys and stay safe, these insects are no joke.

I believe the kissing bug has layed eggs into a sore I had on my neck about 4 months ago on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick Canada. the Cottage was surrounded by rat's, I would see them on Decks there in the garage
But Saint John Regional Hospital in New Brunswick Canada never heard of such a bug and sent me home again with NO HELP, and I'm devastated
Nobody Believes me
. pray for me, please.

i saw one of these bugs outside of my house, and I WAS OUTSIDE OF MY OWN HOME FOR 25 MINUTES, AND AS SOON AS I THOUGHT IT LEFT THE PREMISES OF MY HOME, IT JUMPSCARED ME AND CAME OUT OF A BUSH AND I BOOKED IT BACK INSIDE OF MY HOME

Because of these things my brother keeps calling me every time he finds a Wheel Bug on his property. Like no the vast majority of assassin bugs are hunters, not parasites like these guys.

Chipo in Venezuela. Hard to see in Caracas or other big cities but can still be found in rural areas. Gladly never had contact with any of these.
