Some of the hidden service addresses categorised as illegal just host libraries with free books (every genre, not every address holds major criminal stuff. Then there are dark web mail providers and radios. Tor is also used in countries with strict censorship laws or government surveillance.

Indeed, probably the only thing that I can take national pride in without exposing my ignorance and arrogance (this isn't a democracy, with all these parental laws, how can I be a dissenting adult? Land of the bereaved, home of the slave.

7: 50 most of the -hit man- services are operated by government programs a means of entrapment, but the anonymity of it makes it legal. The -hit men- that Ross Ulbrich hired were not real and were also government, if I-m not mistaken

Red Rooms basically can't exist through onion routing due to just how long it would take actually stream the video data. Its really not ideal for live content.
Also most of them are probably just fbi honey pots anyways.

Since the dark web and the deep web are two separate things, how can someone access the deep web? Basically, things I want to look up more of that I can-t find on conventional web browsers how can I access that?

Red Rooms: Knives, bloodshed, exsanguination, flaying of skin, removal of limbs-and sliced thick with added smoke flavor and a hint of maple and cinnamon for a breakfast bacon that you-ll crave each morning.

Anything can be a weapon, and consequently IS a weapon. The dark web being used for criminal activity is just another transcendence of human nature through technology, just like everything else.

What if TOR implements an AI that checks your activity and if it is illicit it sends your address to the FBI? It is private because only that AI will see it and the info will not be recorded.

I believe this is one of the best videos about the web. Explaining differences about commonly confused terms, disproving lies, and relying solely on facts instead of rumors. I applaud you!

So, apologies if this is a dumb question, but since the US government created and continues to fund TOR, are they able to bypass its anonymity and see exactly who's browsing what?

Anyone know how the FBI agents were able to arrest the admins of Silk Road if it-s completely anonymous? Sounds like -privacy- might not be as private as you may think

You forgot to put the study you cite about hidden services in your references. I can only find one from before Tor was released about onion routing in general.

I always love coming back to this video. It's one of the very few videos I've seen that actually explains correctly the difference between the deep and the dark web

A lack of evidence that Ross tried to have people killed? Or did I take that the wrong way, because there is certainly no lack of evidence on that front.

Is it technically possible to create a third layer above the dark web so that even using tor can-t help you join the sites. Lake a deep web 2. 0

That last line at the end of your video is similar to the line from the Matrix, inside the Matrix they are everyone and they are no one.
