For some reason, the quote of the Chinese man who saw the supernova of the Crab Nebula and wrote about it in the 1000s really made me feel things. To them it was a contemporary event. Idk, it just humbles me how small I am in the scale of human history, and even smaller in the history of earth and the universe.
