Allosauroidea is a large group of carnivore dinosaurs related to Allosaurus. They originated in the Jurassic period and spread globally. Carcharodontosaurids are one of the most successful families of this lineage, rivaling T. rex or Spinosaurus as the largest hunters of the Cretaceous. Patreon

As much as i love your paleoarts. i have to say the truth, wich is that i see the carchar as a downgrade from the cretaceous period video, theres something that really bothers me with large land animals having light coloration, considering that the african elephant is the largest land animal alive today and it is mostly dark Grey, i would consider the Dark Brown and Green carchar from the cretaceous size comparison a lot better.

Saurophaganax is sooooo coollllllllllll
Uh oh, i think i found some carcha's cousin's tooth
EDIT: Before i find out what species is it, I will call it Lacertadentiparvisaurus(lizard with small teeths)
EDIT 2: Bones that i found was probably owned by dinosaur baby. Seems like Poland has big dino too-
Edit 3: renamed Lacertadentiparvisayrus to mikrodontisaurus

even though Giga is the largest allosauroid, and bigger than Spinosaurus, it is still smaller than T Rex, because that animal is heavier. and according to bio science the largest animal means the most massive, which is why Blue Whale is the largest animal to ever exist.

In my opinion all was correct except the last 5
Top 5 Biggest Carcharodontosaurids imo -
1 - Giganotosaurus - 15 meters length
2 - Epanterias - 14 meters
3 - Tyrannotitan - 14 meters
4 - Mapusaurus - 13 meters
5 - Acrocanthosaurus - 13 meters

Sorry I have to say this again but the lips on the theropoda with their mouth open and the gums look so lively, along with the droopy skin on the neck.
Looks like you saw one if these ANIMALS and made a realism rendition. Doesn't look like a movie monster

reply

When I look at reconstructions of these creatures there's no doubt that the allosaurs were the most fearsome animals to ever walk the Earth. I don't think anything else will ever match them.
reply

Giganotosaurus is my favorite dinosaur, amazing to see it captured so realistically here. Most depictions I've seen fail to portray how robust the animal was.
reply

So nice love the art looks really detailed and like real animals, love it some of the best paleo art or just art in general for me personally
reply

Can someone explain to me, are Carcharodontosaurids and Neovenatorids direct descendants of Allosaurus, or do they just have a common ancestry?
reply

Allosauridae and Cacharodontosauridae are in the same family. Allosaurids evolves first then Carcharodontosaurids evolve from Allosaurids.
reply

When the smallest member of its family can see eye to eye with a fully grown man, you know you-ve got a badass group of dinosaurs
reply

It puts things in perspective when the smallest animal in this video is still larger than nearly all of earth's top predators alive today.
reply

Does anyone have a link to any new papers on the classification of Saurophaganax as a valid genus or as a species of Allosaurus?
reply

just a heads up as i see ur remaking vids, many skeletals and sizes are now obsolete
(eg: rajasaurus and tyrannosaurus)

reply

I hate Jurassic World's Allosaurus. Its skull is straight as hell. Couldn't recognise it's a Allosaurus at first
reply

Hey, mario lanzas, could you please make a marine reptile size comparison of all the marine monsters you know?
reply

I absolutely love the effort that you put in here and I also love the thunderbolts and thunder claps!
reply

Every reconstruction with an open mouth makes me think it's about to bite the guy's head off
reply

The Giga looks much better then whatever the Jurassic world franchise is trying to show us
reply

So Metriacanthosauridae, carcharadontsauridae and the neo ones all fall under allosauridae?
reply

Great -.
Scientists say Siats is juvenile. Adult siats probably reached 13 meters or more

reply

U forget kelmayisaurus, eocarcharia
and the new carchadontosauroid from uzbekistan.

reply

Bro really thinks Saurophaganax is that small its bigger than trex and Tarbosaurus.
reply

Do you sell any prints of that Giganotosaurus? I didn-t see anything on red bubble
reply

One of the best depictions of Carchar i've ever seen! Keep up the good work my man!
