How able to support agriculture is the savanna biome? It seems to have a decent amount of rainfall and yearlong warm to hot temperatures, seems ideal for plant growth and agriculture. And how would it compare in terms of agriculture productivity to a Mediterranean climate or the steppe grasslands?

Savannah regions seem to have a lot in common with Mediterranean regions. I guess the main difference is what time of year the precipitation falls? Summer for Savannah, Winter for Mediterranean?

I think you mean Savanna, not Savannah. Savanna is the biome you were talking about, Savannah is a city in the state of Georgia.
