But to be fair I do think US did drop the ball in their foreign politics in the last decade and we may see more countries as a result start leaning to the feeding hand of China, especially if they one day actually will decide to help countries in Europe and not just -solve- issues in Middle East that cause even more issues for the whole world. Coz lets be real, it is for no politician about democracy, it is about the money and benefits and US has not been feeding its allies very well.

i like some of orbon's policies, but partnerships with china often dont turn out well. from debt traps, poor quality construction and chinese influence in the region countries are probably better off without them. im no geopolitics expert, this is just my opinion. the european union of course is not innocent either, and i do not like it. i think it strangles national sovereignity and imposes restrictions on our freedoms. i dont like the european union funding things and i dont like it making decisions for us. the few good things it brought us like common currency which aided in trade and easier border crossings for its members do not require the eu.

I do not understand why an overseas Chinese investment is an issue. Isn't that the essence of globalization that's been idealized since the 1980s? Why are the multinational investments from western investors not an issue, but when it happens, another way around it is invasion? It looks like getting angry when you see colored protagonists in the movies because you got used to the white actors/actresses in the blockbusters.

Hungarian people are not against it only the leftist/kommunist Hungarians are against their own comrades to build the university as they now slaves to the west not to the east, like before 1989. The Hungarian communist/leftist population is roughly 1/3 of the Hungarian population. So 2/3 of the country is not against the university. But of course no one will mention this because it does not fit into western propaganda.

Hearing China wants to educate us, is the most hilarious plan I have listened to for a while. Everyone who studied in China before will know that they need to improve and adjust their collectivist culture. This isn't actually going to work. Build your schools, and we will take over; )
