3D LED Christmas tree Jerry: Wow I wish I had found this video before we headed South. I do not have all my assembly equipment along down here in the Arizona Desert. I have built several of the Chinese kits that are Christmas Trees and Holiday Bells that flash from side to side. They do make a fairly nice Christmas Display on the Dashboard of our Motor Home. The string of multi-color LED's that I glued to the Windshield last Christmas Season have stayed in place through the summer Months so no need to replace them. Guess I am about Ready for Christmas, well except for a gift for my good wife of 48 years. You see, some how, and don't ask me how in today's world, I forgot her birthday this year. First time in 48 years, that was back in August, and I still feel Guilty for such a slip of the mind. I blame it on the pain killers, but to tell you the truth, it may well be that my old brain just isn't cutting it any more. That is a frightening prospect. I have watched as my brother-in-law, some 10 years my senior has lost some of his ability's, such as being able to drive his motor home, my God, if I could not driver our rig, we would have to sell her off, as my good wife can't handle the big rig with our Ford Edge hooked to the rear. Well I have every confidence that she could, however fear of the unknown has kept her from behind the wheel since we upgraded to the big rig, from a pickup towing a camper (she wouldn't drive that either) I can't blame her, these do look frightening to handle, but once you have them on the highway they drive like a big car.

Hey GreatScott! PLEASE Build another one of these but with rgb leds driven by an Arduino so you can have Christmas lights and a star on top. Its like a led cube but in tree shape!

Come on, not even heat shrink tubing to prevent shorts? You're doing this to avoid another Operation Paperclip or is it a suggestion to ElectroBoom?
