I thought that was a brilliant summation of one of the most intractable situations worldwide. Britain did make an ass of itself in the promises it made to both sides. However, even if it hadn't made these promises the situation would still exist. Personally, I think the Jews deserve their homeland - they've been treated badly by so many and Israel is the most appropriate place. But I don't think this gives them the right to treat Palestinians badly. Could it be possible to use money and international cooperation to buy a way out of the problem? Offer displaced Palestinians substantial grants, accommodation and education opportunities to relocate to other parts of the world? I have no vested interest in this conflict, I'm just trying to think of possible solutions.

Thanks. This is exactly what i was looking for. Simple with easy to understand maps. More details-- which would encourage even more political based criticism-- would have defeated the purpose of this being brief. I suggest some of the critics make their own video clarifying their concerns rather than bashing of your efforts. I agree with most of the posts which credit you for your project.

Your narration isn't quite accurate here - especially with colonisation of East Jerusalem when you even state Jordan ceased the area for itself in the 60s. You also neglect to mention the Jordanian ethnic cleansing of Jews in East Jerusalem neighbourhoods such as silwan and sheikh Jarrah as well as the Hebron massacre of 1929 carried out by the Palestinians against the Jews

Why does everyone promote the theory that Jews favoured the spilt of Palestine into Jewish and Arab countries. Having studied this in universtiy 20th Century history, it was the Jews who, overall, did not agree with the split as Jews want an Isreal that includes all historical lands. That is the single main reason for continued Israeli-Palestinian conflicts.

Israel didnt cause the 6 day war. Egypt committed a globally recognised act of war by closing the Straits of Titan which cut off Israels shipping routes.
Thats not even mentioning Israel being surrounded by enemies who openly wanted them wiped of the face of the map and were creating more and more threatening pacts to do so.

Gonna comment on this video because I cant on the first video. About half of the information in the first video is just flat out wrong. As a religious Jew its almost insulting to say that my history started in 750BCE and that the Temple of Solomon was built in the 530s BCE.

Yeah. It's hard to look at both of these videos an not become an anti-semite, even without the historical context you can come to the conclusion that these people are exceptionally terrible. Look at what they do when they have even a smidge of power.
