You mention Australian troops and Canadians, but not New Zealanders. Despite mentioning other German Colonies, you fail to mention that the German colony of Western Samoa, seized by New Zealand troops in 1914, becomes a New Zealand Protectorate at the end of the war. And all your maps in this video fail to even show New Zealand on them. I am sure our veterans and those who lost their lives fighting on the other side of the world deserve much better than to be written out of this conflict and history in this way. I certainly hope you will do something to remedy this offensive oversight in future.

Ever ask yourself, what really started this war. Or who? An assassination of a royal person from Patagonia Indiana was killed by what some scholars or history people refer to some half wit young man who was probably the Lee Harvey Oswald of that time. Seriously, how does a war like that really get started because of an assassination of Duke something Ferdinand from Hoboken New Jersey? Would love to sacrifice my life or see experience the death of a child because Duke somebody got assassinated by a lesser somebody.

As an Australian, I should be use to our efforts just getting glossed over. It really pisses me off how our contribution is just overlooked so often. Not even a mention of Sir John Monash, Le Hamel where Monash used Combined Arms for the first time in Military History to push into German Territory, and how it set up the Blueprint for the Allied Advances for the rest of the war.
Still could be worse, feel sorry for the New Zealanders & Canadians, they didn't even get a mention.

It's good to see that without hating other side which is German military tactics, even they're outnumbered of allies fighting 3: 1 against british, canadian, french, americans, oh man that was so sick they're really amazing even lacking support of manpower and resources still they dominate & hold the line.

11/11/11 11 O' Clock. It is an honor, as always, to be able present information to my students with such vivid detail and dramatic delivery. Much respect to those who fought and served for their respective countries. those soldiers fought bravely and sacrificed themselves with dignity and grace. EPIC HISTORY.

The thing that has confused me is why did Germany get slapped so much by the treaty compared to Austra-Hungary who seriously wanted the war (well half did half didn't. Germany said we support you to A-H so why was Germany shafted so much?
Was it because they didn't want to/were the last to sign or?

WW1 the war to end all wars. What a joke. Just 21 years after WW1, WW2 would start the most horrific and destructive war man has ever known. Well over 50 million soldiers and civilians would lose their lives. The god PLATO only the dead know the end of war. RIP

And the greed of the allies in the treaty of Versailles set the platform for a certain he who shall remain nameless to seize power less than 20 years later and throw the world into an even more devastating war. WW2 was mostly the allies fault.

Honestly speaking if US had not entered the first world war, there would have been no second world war, Germany would have won easily. It's like German empire is fighting with the whole world.

Once again the yanks step in last minute and claim they won it (just a joke calm down)
Although there was one man who shouldve of died in this war a young Austrian private

November 11th. Settling the score. From 15-20 million. Almost half of the dead, civilian. A new world will dawn from empires fallen. And the end of the war to end war.

Something I've never understood is why everyone says Germany started the war, um, Austria Hungary was first to declare war, effectively starting the war, like tf

Germany are very brave and technologies. But they usually end up with less power allies and they don't know how to build new allies or coalition
