Everything you need to know about the Russian Revolution in 13 minutes. This video covers all the major events of Russia's TWO revolutions of 1917 the February Revolution that ended Tsarist rule in Russia, and the October Revolution, that brought the Bolsheviks to power. We explain the causes of Tsar Nicholas II's growing unpopularity - the role of the mysterious Siberian mystic Rasputin, Russia's disastrous involvement in World War One, and the events on the streets of Petrograd that led to the Tsar's abdication. That summer Russia lurched from crisis to crisis, with a Provisional Government that faced riots (the July Days, military revolt (the Kornilov Affair, economic chaos, and constantly dwindling support. Socialist Prime Minister Alexander Kerensky, once hailed as Russia's great hope, was unable to restore order, or, in October, prevent the Bolsheviks from launching a coup, organised by Leon Trotsky and led by Vladimir Lenin, that overthrew the Provisional Government and brought the Bolsheviks to power. A brutal civil war followed, leading to the death of more than 10 million Russians amongst them Tsar Nicholas II and his family, executed by Bolsheviks at Yekaterinburg in July 1918. From the wreckage emerged the Soviet Union, formed in 1922, and destined to be one of the 20th century's superpowers

I'll never understand how people can possibly think that Democracy is somehow better than a monarchy. Basically with Democracy you end up with half of the country or even more of it split up into factions that hate one another and are constantly infighting. Where as with a Monarch in place it will usually keep things monolithic and homogeneous where the majority usually sticks together as long as ya don't end up with a complete tyrant. And usually you don't. Things may not always perfect. But they were better men than this chaotic mess we have now a days.
Democracy does not put the power in the hands of the people. It just rips them apart and causes civil war. It also takes more money away from the majority of families. And more often than not, these civil wars that break out are far more bloody than the wars carried out against a foreign enemy. Not to mention the awful taste in leaves in one's mouth to on occasion have to kill their own brother.
Since the fall of The European Monarchs this planet has been in complete and utter chaos. Now there is no order and no real leadership to look up to, and no honor at all. No sense of national pride, ust a bunch of usury and depression along with hatred facing inward towards your fellow citizens. And lastly, no trust in anything or anyone. It's all been taken away because of the way everyone has been pushed apart from one another by partisanship. So now we not only lose trust in the government but also the people and any sort of established media sources we might have trusted at one point, and this is all because different agendas are being pushed this way and that way by all of them. And it's all done on purpose to keep the International Elite in place. They have one larger agenda working in the background while be fight over petty crap in the streets. That is what Democracy has caused, nothing but chaos and confusion.

Thats such a great quote at the beginning of the video. Look at whats happened to western countries since democratic republics have become the standard. I think wed be in a much better place now if the monarchies endured.

. what's worse is that people here in the states and throughout the West want Socialism. Idiots! Marxism killed over 100 million people in the 20th century and it's still killing people today.

Now that was quiet frankly expertly explained, ain't it amazing how there is actual video footage of some war in like 1914, how is this possible, ha.

Those hope's for a democratic state during the February revolution, were put down for decades to come.
Not this decade either, maybe later?

Democracy is the power of the PEOPLE! Not the power of the parties and dissidents! The USSR was the only TRUE democratic state!
