well, maybe this would be a weird suggestion, but have you considered going off historical accounts of the Amazon female warriors? Looks like your covering armies known for males, maybe include the females to help bring in new viewers, interest additional male viewers. Maybe Amazon warriors were fictional, but you could make an ideal version of an Amazon warrior.

Great content, Omar. I would not complain at a 30-60 minute episode of this for a deeper historical dive.
I've seen plenty of historical documentaries about Roman gladiators, but none that really went into diet and physiology like this.

So there were meat shortages in a society that could afford for ninety animals a day to be annexed by one dude. not buying that. More likely, the barley was used to supply the new guys with just enough nutrition to fight, but all the desire on Earth to advance.

You did not mention that they ate Barley so often, to build a thick layer of fat. The needed the fat layer to help protect gladiators from slash wounds. From Gladius and other weapons. They were very muscular with a little bit of fat.

Was curious to see what they did n how what they did for exercise besides train for combat. Deff agree its better to be more flexable and fast rather than the huge bulky spartens we used to assume do to movies. thanks bro

Mate you are cooked to expect people to do a body weight overhead press) what a joke.
I would say that only 5 percent of athletes would be able to do their body weight overhead. Let alone for reps.

To get more specific I'd like to see something on Greek statues. How much was artistic license (like we see in Hollywood today? Maybe origins and workouts based on Boxer of Quirinal and The Diskobolos?

Your back was arched when overhead pressing. Really dangerous. Your back is meant to be straight, not arching back with your head that far back. Looking for an injury.

Lbs is short for Libras or -Roman Pound- and 12 ounces was a pound back in the day compare to 16 now. Also 20 Roman miles is 18 in modern standards for a daily march?

the Glagiators sadly did not eat meat they wer allways on a veagndiet and thats why ther bonnes wer more thicer and better as the avg meat eater
