Theodore Roosevelt Cracks Down on NYC Corruption - History Isabella: and well over 100 years later now he's still the most interesting historical figure in the united states.
he had like 3-5 biographies of various degrees of official status in the school library of my combined elementary/middle school library. the librarian eventually kicked me out of the non-fiction/biography section and pointed me toward fiction/historical fiction new genre/categorization because she thought i was reading too much biographies and too much for learning and not enough for fun and needed to diversify my reading or something along those lines i forget now. teachers often limited my book reports to 2-3 pages long typed on mom's type writer because even summarized they had trouble grading them because i wound up knowing more on some subjects then they did from what i could tell or at least it seemed that way sometimes at the time.
being held back so much in public school almost caused me a lot of problems in college as they wanted my work ethic and knowledge and how i had used to do reports and projects in elementary school with full works cited and bibliography pages and things that the middle school and highschool teachers often didnt care about at all or discouraged or just wanted a sample page that showed you knew how to do one if necessary and then let it be at at that.

It's weird to think that if Theodore Roosevelt were alive today he'd more likely be a Democrat similar to Bernie Sanders given his stances on fighting corruption, breaking up monopolies, protecting workers' rights, and ensuring national lands were saved.

Can you imagine if someone cracked down on corruption today? We would cease to have anyone in government. The US senate, house, and presidency is the largest criminal organization in the world.
