I think this is the most beautiful architecture that humanity has ever created. I don't know why the western world needed to set it asside. now it seems that architects create the outrageous in form and space in order to make a name for themselves. But people instinctively look for harmony and balance, not pop architectural chaos. Beauty no longer seems to even be a consideration for modern architecture except in home design and super projects like huge highrises. Everything else is a banal box or some wild explosion of disparate angles and joints. Date: 2024-03-27
