Hi, Kathy. I'd like to show your video about DeForest 'stealing' the radio tube idea, but I want to confirm you have used valid sources. I do believe what you said was true, but I wanted to reach out before I shared it. Thank you! Patricia White PS I'd be sharing this with HS students in a Mass Comm class. I haven't taught the class in over 20 years, so I'm doing my research staying about 1 step ahead of them.

Kathy in the case of Venus Electric, without kiss, would she get the same shock if she jumps suddenly from the insulated stool to the ground? And what would happen if she is not staying on the insulated stool at all from the beginning? What happens exactly during the shock?

tartaria. imagine how much electricity we had in the past that was covered up by robber barrons. Not everything was so well documented hundreds of years ago. entire electrified cities that were closed to the world, like Japan was, could have existed and wiped out

I have seen pictures of these machines many times in my life and I only realized now that this is a form of Van Der Graaff generator. Nice. Thanks for your series, I do enjoy the way that you combine disparate facts into a timeline immensely.

. finally women were being involved with experiments and not just for kisses. LOL
Somehow, I'm certain that a few more kisses were extracted for experimental purposes since then

What set up did you use in your kitchen? Looks like a electric drill connected to a plate or something? I'd love to try this at home! Curious how to re-create this: )

I love so much that you've duplicated a lot of these experiments. You are a delight to listen to and your videos are so much fun to watch!

I was born in a non-English country, it's a pity so many of the people in this country won't get to hear you.
