I've been hearing Democrats say January 6 riot was our Reichstag Fire.
Even woke General Miley said that.
But that's not the analogy they want. Nobody cares about the Dutchman who set the Reichstag on fire. It was the people who exploited it politically that destroyed Europe.

Yeah, firebombing civilians was totally about destroying the industrial capacity of Germany. It's also quite odd that France and England didn't also declare war on the USSR following the invasion of Poland. This video totally isn't pushing a particular narrative about Germany and the war.

At the beginning of the 20th century in Canada, there was a city called Berlin, in an area of southwestern Ontario that also had cities and towns named London, Paris, and Delhi (pronounced del-high. But as a result of WWI, Berlin changed its name, and today it is known as Kitchener.

I'm sure Germans felt euphoric when they conquered France within a month, one day you have foreign soldiers abusing their power and Killing you fellow citizen. Although Germany lost the war they had the chance of taking vengance of the humiliation they suffered.

THIS is the most fair, accurate, and concise history of the NA Z I Party and World War II ever made. It should be shown in every American classroom and its creator should get a Peabody award, a Pulitzer, a Nobel prize, and free cable for life.

Well it seems that we have not changed in the last 100 or so years, when the economy tanks a crisis will occur and those with money and or influenced by it will look towards a populist for leadership even if that person is potentially insane.

I would like more 10 minute history, even if it was only on Patreon or another website that allows mature themes like thousands of people dying from war, disease, & such.

Keep in mind that the higher standard of living for Germans was due in large part to the forced labor and discrimination of other ethnic and political groups.

Hey so I have a question why in every video when East and West Germany is showed there is one spot in the East one that is marked the same colour as the Western one

It was never actually called the Weimar Republic.
It was still just Germany.
The declaration of the republic was made in Weimar, but it was still just Germany

What happened to Germany in the 1920s with the Mark being practically worthless reminds me of what is currently happening in Venezuela nowadays.

Everything you are taught comes from what the British want you to know. The fact is world war 2 was started by England and France.

Moral of the story: socialists and communists hate each other and will fight each other to take over any democratic country

Very interesting how similar current events are those that lead to an oppressive oligarchy. Popularism is so dangerous.

Its crazy what an economical depression can do to a countrys desperation. Germany has come a long way since this war.
