My number law for this n/n e. g 85/8585 (Number on the bottom must be bigger than number on the top or it won't work) This gets you 0. 0099009900 recurring depending on how many numbers you put in. Also the number on the top must be the same sequence on the bottom. You can have the same sequence respects over and over again but it must always be the same.

If you took every possible number between 1 and 1. 001 would you have less numbers or the same amount of possible numbers compared to every number between 1 and 3.
Because 1-3 has every number possible from the first problem plus every number between 1. 001-3. Yet the number of numbers between 1 and 1. 001 is infinite.

I like these episodes that show a link back to antiquity. But then Archimedes is one of my favourite mathematicians.
I really like what those ancient mathematicians were able to achieve with the limited tools they had. I would appreciate some episodes just on the history of mathematics.

In the first construction. How do you construct the bigger figure which shall be similar to the small ones?
If it isn't possible to do this constructively and precise then this is not very special to me. I can draw a square with the same area as a circle myself if it has not to be precise.

They are not called -lunes- but rather -meniscus- (learn to speak proper Greek you people. This proof is called -meniscus of Hippocrates- and is a small fraction of his -principia geometrica- and in fact the only part that survived up to present day.

Archimedes provides another example of squaring the circle which calculates the volume/area of a sphere/circle equal to 1/3 of the enclosing cube/ square. -!
