All of these I've felt on a daily basis. Sometimes I think I am just an introvert and antisocial but I just realized I'm not. The part that you check the things many times even its just fine; i thought that was just me being paranoid and no. Its my anxiety. Last week I had an anxiety attack because I thought everyone was looking at me. Then the days after that, I have become more aware that everyday i feel mostly everyone staring at me. It makes my anixety higher and I check for any flaws on me like if I have something on my face, etc. It worsens everyday. Usually I can contain my anxiety when I get home from school but it has taken a toll of me physically and mentally, up to the point where i get more irritated, i have no energy at the end of the day, I easily forget, and I don't have the motivation to finish assignments. This is not like me as I always finish my assignments because of my anxiety. My parents make it worse when I try to tell them. I cope with anxiety by putting this rest face that looks like I am upset and sad everytime I go someplace. I am clingy and want someone to talk to and when I'm alone, I do randomly check my phone even though I just checked in a second ago. People who dont understand anxiety make it harder on the person. Do you also have these random chest pains when it hurts to breath? Yes. Me too. Its the anxiety taking a physical impact. When you hold your breath, and do this on a daily basis, really has an effect on your lungs. Ok im done talking. I just felt comfortable talking (or typing) what I felt because I thought I was just an introvert. Although I can't be so sure of that.

I dont even only rehearse phone calls because i always freak out when talking with someone on the phone so i dont really call anyone or give anyonw my number. But i always rehearse how i will ask something to someone even if its not even that important. And i always have 5 different ways i thought of. I would go with the first way to ask then i would think this isnt right and try the second way and still not satisfied. I m alwasy scared i will say something wrong or something that will make them hate me or something especially because i don't have that much close friends and they are the ones i have. I also always think things twice before saying or doing something which makes me look like i am a slow person. I can't make decisions too because i kept thinking for the other person and not just for myself. Its also so awkward when i talk to anyone because i stammer when i talk and people always ask me back what i said because they didnt understand what i said or it wasnt clear then i have to be like ohh yea sure i will say it back and it gets even more awkward. The only person who doesnt judge me or have a you are kinda wierd look on their face is my mother. I love her and she loves me but of course there are problems sometimes because non of us are perfect. But she still supports me all the way. I think i said too much lol you didnt even asked. Anyways bye

Here's my problem with social interaction and trying to have friends- as a kid, until I was 10ish, I was an extrovert. At 11, I became an introvert. While being an extrovert, I wanted everyone to be my friend. Problem is, every time I would try to be friends with someone, they would deny my request, or if they accepted it they became overly controlling. I was a people pleaser so I never said anything or stood up for myself. Those people have left my life and I now have two friends, because either I or the other people all moved away. I'm just scared of those things happening again, where I either get a friend who gives me no freedom and literally forces me to do things, or I finally get a good friend who doesn't try to control me and I end up moving away. If I could just have everything and everyone in a room-a room with white walls and nothing even remotely dangerous- I would feel way more comfortable. I wouldn't be able to lose anyone and I could make sure that they are always ok, no matter what.

The strange thing is even though i have anxiety I still try to look comfortable and Everyone passes by me like I am invisible for some reason; Nobody ever comes up to me to talk or anything like that.
I have a high IQ and am very Social even though i do Not approach others very often, Most do Not think much of me it seems.
I think i just dont look like someone that knows a whole lot or talks much, But i know so many things and have so many hobbies that i have not gotten into just yet. I think that those who are Fortunate to talk to me start to Realize i am very Educated and that probably surprises them.

Wow the difference and the Growth and the Strength. I would like it if you could share more about this sponsor with me. I am unsure if they still exist or have changed or if there is a better one. Please check this and let me know. I seriously would like something that helps me easily organize keeping track of things. So I and my care team can have something to look on later just to see what all has changed. A whole coverage thing that helps track habits, behaviors, diet, sleep, emotion, coping skills used, exercise, ect. Know of anything like that?

Buddha said: The more you expect something would happen like the way you've been thinking it's gonna happen, chances are very high for you to feel so stressed. Its bc things dont happen the way you want. When they dont, you will suffer. So in the end, who makes u suffer? The answer is YOU. The solution for this is JUST LET THEM BE. Dont expect too much, even good or bad. Its out of ur control. You just only can change the perspective abt things that out of ur control. Positive or negative, it depends on you. :)

This is excellent. Well done! So many comments are unfortunately very insular. But you already understand yourself and the point is to be understood by others and open up. My life changed when i opened up and it isn't perfect but i feel less guilty and overthink less
Anxiety is no different/worse than any other personal issue. so i suggest to readers to share this with people they want to get along with

Number 6 is just normal human emotion, if someone important to you had an accident your gonna remember the day, and on that day your gonna feel sad thats just how human emotion works. Some move on some dont in the end it all depends on how someone takes the situation. This is all my opinion, Im not gonna argue, just my point of view. We can have different views and still agree its a problem.

One time in Art, I sit by my crush and his gf (yeah I still like him) and my anxiety makes me talk to myself constantly. My crush called me out saying You realize you talk to yourself right? I apologized clearly knowing I do that duh and the whole time the little voice in my head told me to shut up and stop talking. People have no idea how hard it is.

as someone with depression and anxiety, i am aware that they can take control of my life unless i try to control them. while good and honest freinds are far and few between for many of us, they do exist, and there are people who can help. we should be able to acknowledge them, and tell the difference between them and anyone else.

As for my experience anxiety becomes deadly when you don't have someone to share your burdens. It's just sad and deppressing when you live with anxiety almost everyday. It is like you are dying or worst thinking ending your life so that the problems will go away forever.

My carelessness in my previous working experience makes my coworkers isolate me, and this is how my anxiety turns up. I multicheck a lot, anxiety in socialising, replying a message after straining and stressing out for an hour, and have very serious trust issues

Me: Um. Sorry but could you repeat that? I zoned out.
Mum: Well I guess it wasn't interesting enough for you to listen.
Me: No! I didn't mean to. starts to cry
Mum: Oh stop crying.
Mum 5 minutes later: Why are you avoiding me?

I agree with the first five completely. And three of the last five. I don't think the others don't happen, I'm sure they do, but they don't happen to me. So I guess I don't disagree or agree, more like I exhibit and don't exhibit some of them.

Psych2Go, I dont find this narrators voice to be as soothing as the former soft spoken person. I do still like the content and the videos help me open a dialogue with my therapist, but Id prefer a more soft spoken voice.

I really don't want to self diagnose but they are just describing all the symptoms i have. It's so hard to be social and hold interaction when you stutter and tremble every time u talk to others.

The first point really called me out whenever Im out at a party or in a crowd of others, I hide out in the restroom for a couple minutes, and my parents always yell at me for doing it

You feel terrified to swallow, sniff or change your position in quiet situations like taking an exam, because you're afraid that someone will notice you and stare at you
reply

I dont just rehearse phone calls I double check what Im saying when Im around people. I still fall flat on my face because I get stares. I just wish I didnt suck at everything

Something people without anxiety don't understand is when I don't want to eat. It's nothing against your cooking/baking, my stomach is simply in a knot and I can't eat.
