I dont know what to do because my (ex) best friend is definitely a difficult person. She got angry at me for being paranoid and asking if shes mad all the time when I think she sounds mad because its annoying, and proceeded to say things like how she wanted me to be mean to her, but when I asked if she really meant it, she said no. I feel like she really does want my concern but cant help but be mean about it and get mad at me unreasonably when I show it, saying she doesnt want my pity and things, and after our friendship has potentially ended now, I still feel bad and thinking I should have tried harder to be understanding and nice as I usually do, and then it would have been okay. But at the same time, my mum and one other friend (who gives advice when this happens but I find hard to be close with) are telling me either to just not reply to her or to tell her that shes wrong and fight fire with fire as my friend put it. I ended up just not replying to her after she said she wouldnt speak to me again if I didnt say anything now, because I felt shed just gotten too used to me being the one to pull us back together every time, to be the one who puts in the effort, even if that means subjecting to her harsh words and not standing up for myself, which I should have started to do before she got too comfortable. Maybe then I could have saved it. I just feel like I should have done something more, that I should have found the right words and tried harder to understand her again, but at the same time she just made me so upset, shes said so many things to me that I dont know how to handle, shes been so difficult and changed me in many ways. She previously argued with me that I had changed into a sassy person and since then, Ive become paranoid instead, and now shes mad about that too. I just dont know how to deal with her anymore and understanding just makes me feel so small and weak and hurt. I dont know if Ive done the right thing, especially because we actually get on very well when these things arent happening.

I dont think people are difficult to deal with. I think some peoples demons are just harder to handle. And it's okay, but the important thing is understanding and communication, right? It can be two completely different realities from one another after all. One who is deemed difficult to handle probably needs the most love, and just doesnt know how to accept it. Or even they might be afraid to accept it. That's why understanding is the biggest key imo. I'm told I'm difficult because I go from high energy to completely low, and irritable out of nowhere. I think I drain peoples energies with my hyperactivity, and then drain my own. It's not your fault. And if someone took the time to talk to me about it to understand, it would make keeping my friends a lot easier.

But being a difficult person is hard. I dont want you to be with you and I push you away because of the overwhelming guilt and pain I feel near you. Sometimes I need to be alone, and I dont want you to avoid me but I want you to understand me and let me have some space. Im not attention seeking and I dont want to be a burden for you. Im hypersensitive because Im so sad and lonely and tired that everything is double what it should be. I want to say I love you but my mouth says go away or I hate you Because that is what I want to say to myself. I really am sorry and I just want to be happy.

It's really hard to get the trust of those difficult people, especially if they have a negative view of things that is caused by some event that triggered them to act like that way (though not all of them are like that, and is just a little lost. If you're in front of them, just act normal. They indeed need some help, but they wouldn't like the fact that you're trying to help them. The only way to fix this is to build up your trust, spend more time with them and they would open up to you.

It might be really difficult to love me. My friends say I'm a vampire for aways bring them down and suck their happiness. I know Im a difficult person but I try to be very supportive and I often help them in order to balance things but even through I'm aways doing impossible tasks for them I'm still the vampire. I really dont know what to do.

I understand seeing the positive however in a world that we live in today most Americans financially struggling it makes it harder to see the positive in that situation when that one thing cost money and then that cost of money takes away from other things which leads to more stress so how are we supposed to find the positive in that

There is a long endless tunnel of darkness. What if someone were to go to far in and loose there way out, what if they wanted to go back into the light bit darkness swallowed them forever. should they just lay there in the tunnel alone and helpless or continue to go further into the tunnel until you finally end it all

Of course, even the most emotional and angry person or the bully have stories.
My sister is somewhat difficult, a middle child and often impulsive, angry, negative, and anxious, although somewhat intelligent.
Now I feel bad, because I realized I forced positivity onto her- wish I could've seen it sooner.

I dont know, I dont know bro. I had deal with a difficult person and I didnt know what to do which then lead to breaking me and losing myself in the long run. I dont want to go through the same thing again. Especially when the person doesnt know how to communicate its so stressful.

Wow this is soo true. I have a trust issue problems and I have a lot of faces and I know how and when to use them. I try coming out but all my beloved one never care and they thought I was joking
Well we all fake after all right. sorry for being so emotional here

Im a bit difficult, but only when I want to be alone. If I want to be alone and someone's bothering me I get difficult. I hate people who dont give me space, whether they are happy or not. However, I don't make things about myself, I want to be by myself.

When I moved to another city everyone literally started acting werid. It's like people can't hear me as well or they take what I say out of context. Or they over think what I say. Ik it isn't me because I talk to my friends online and they act so regular

Sometimes if you dont understand something then you need to get rid of it. Some toxic people are black holes. There is nothing you can do to help them accept fire them or get them out of your life so they dont bring you down with them
reply

There will always be people that do the opposite of what you want. And some of that cannot be changed, i believe its just how some people are. Best thing is to not take everything personally and have likeminded people around.
reply

How would you categorize people who are easily offended, take stuff the wrong way, and gossips about it to people who validate them and vilify the other person (without even knowing the full story?
reply

Some people want their ass kissed, attention seek as well, make little situation's snowball into something else & overly sensitive. I'm verrrrrry direct when i can pick up on a difficult person.
reply

Well this makes me feel a bit shit now because i think i am tbe difficult person and k don't want to burden people and bring their mood down but i can't help it. I don't know when I'm doing it
reply

I always disliked that expression Difficult People it's really harsh and judgemental! Try having compassion and understanding for others as you do not know their journey or circumstances.
reply

The worst thing is when someone who you don't get on with befriends all of your friends (whether intentionally or unintentionally) and then manipulates you, leaving you nobody to go to.
reply

I like how this address the problem objectively rather than subjectively. this actually helps me so much. I've been doing most of this things actually before I've watch this video.
reply

I know I'm not the difficult person. When you continue to lie, cheat and steal. I don't agree with those behaviors. This is what they have done to me. Trying to control my life
reply

Can you make a video about relationship or differences between the characteristics of an introverts or someone whos been abuse or neglected and a difficult person?
reply

I was once told by a former partner that I will not be happy as long as we are together because he is difficult to deal with. Those words shuck me to the core.
reply

What happens if you can't reschedule the meeting because you are just a lackey who has been told you need to be there? Then it really is a bad situation.
reply

I am a difficult person that usually needs help inside, being difficult usually being more prominent when I _do_ need help inside. Anybody else?
