me and my most recent ex had broken up on the doubting phase but it's only because i had serious doubts that she was loyal to me. some of my friends and some of 'our' friends (mutual friends) had told me that she has been becoming really close with another guy and touching on him, then i noticed that she was still texting most of her ex's and i had one ex that i texted almost everyday because she had been my best friend for a very long time and we only dated a couple months just to see if we could be more than friends. she would get mad that i was texting my best friend and i would constantly tell her that we are just friends, when she was texting most of the ex's at the same time but she would say that's different everytime we had an argument about me texting my ex (best friend) and i just constantly felt like she was cheating on me and i even came up to her and tried to have a conversation about it but she always tried to change the subject so i went to some of my friends to talk to them about my problems with her and she would get mad at say that it's none of their business WHEN SHE WOULD GO AND TELL THE OTHER GUY WHOM SHE HAD BEEN TOUCHING EVERYTHING and still. she would say that's different and last week she had texted me from her sister's phone (i had her sister's number, nothing weird just had it to ask for help with getting my ex a birthday present) saying that she is sorry and want to get back together. we have been broken up since December 7th, what was supposed to be our anniversary and i want to give her another change but I've heard stories about her going with the other guy the night we broke up. i want to, but at the same time i dont want to get back together/get hurt.

Stage 4) stay at her place to protect her for 1 night
Stage 5) spend two weeks on a holiday with her while you're still there to protect her and seduce her

Stage 8) your freinds turn out to be snakes cos your elderly wise neighbour says they are. kill anyone who questions you or your elderly neighbour or anyone who likes your freinds and your freinds themselves
Stage 9) you're now a serial killer and tell her that it's OK because you can both be the last 2 people left alive and you can rule the galaxy with her.
Stage 10) turns out your best freind from your freind group has survived and she be a hoe and hooked up with him so now fight him
Step 11) choke your now wife and get mortally injured by your freind so you have to live the rest of your life with a life support machine attached to you. step 11) interrogate your daughter about the locations of the last surivers of your freind group. your son comes back for revenge cos your. Evil your son won't join your family business now but you will sacrifice yourself by getting electricuted by the old neighbour while as you chuck him down an elevator shaft tell your son you were good the whole time and drop dead

If you have a long term relationship that started very young, be prepared for a hard slog to keep it going. You're both going to change a lot over the years, especially through college, (don't even get me started on how tough long distance can be, but it's worth it to see the person they become. It's hard, having dated my person since I was 14, and just being split from them during college years, having to watch how much they're changing through the years. I don't know what it's going to be like, having to basically meet this whole new person after 4 years, but I think it's going to be worth it. So, for any young couples out there who want a future together, just know, you will both change. maybe not anything so drastic, but you will both change, hopefully into better people, who will love each other even more. I know that it's been worth it for us to keep going, and I hope it continues to be. It's hard, but definitely worth it.

I wonder, can friends become partners? Going on the dating fase feels kinda forced. Especially since we already 'dated', meaning we spent a lot of time together and getting to know each other. Did activities like hiking, cooking and all sorts of interactive things.
My only consern is losing a great friendship because being partners did not work out.

I feel like I go through these stages but then revert and in only short periods of time. For example, this girl I've been talking to for a few months now I feel like we've passed to the being comfortable part, and then for example we went on a first date and did all the things and then it felt like we were already to the honeymoon stage

I just recently lost my longest relationship of 2 years to the doubting phase, I don't quite know why i clicked on this video but it's good to know that even though it hurts, it's one of the most common phases for things to fall through. I wish it could have gone a different way but, it is what it is.

This applies best to mentally healthy people I feel like.
It's mostly the same for me, but from trauma and shit, doubt is always present, along with my partner. We're very comfortable together still, reassuring each other constantly. And honestly, I wouldn't really want it any other way
