Watching this is kind of weird, I had an iq test when I was 11. I used to relate with so many of these when I was younger. Tho I learnt with time to really enjoy company and being with others. The rest I still keep, im learning my 6th instrument, I still read about science and mathmatics even though Ive chosen to follow a semi-artistic path. I guess when we grow older our priorities might change since we all have different personalities. Another thing to have in mind is that people with high IQ are more prone to mental health issues. I developed depression, adhd and ocd (ocd in the absolute worst sense, not the very tidy must have everything in the right place kind of ocd.
I want to remind everyone, if you are feeling down, going to a psychologist helps a lot. I dont advise medication, I advise talk treatment, at least for people with high IQ. Because we can understand what other tell us better and process our worries away most of the time. Of course there are limits for talk therapy, they do a test, if it goes over a threshold you are sent to get meds, but you still continue having talk therapy for that problem.

I can absolutely tell you, my supposedly warped sense of humor, such as aids, incest, bathroom, child molester and racist jokes, has caused me all kinds of trouble and problems and bitter remorse. I've lost jobs because of it, and even had the police called on me, over an innocent cartoon I sent to a girl I liked at McDonalds. I must be a genius. I have to be. I'm age 68 and no one ever in my life, has understood me. I don't belong in this world. I feel like I came to earth from another world, somehow. I almost flunked out of high school, and other than my music and writing, I never rose above factory labor jobs, but I love to laugh.

This comment section is painful to read, its filled with narcissism and people who say, ah yes, I do all of this so Im clearly super smart and even the ones that admit they dont do any of these then say but you can be smart in other ways. Most people probably searched this video, I know I did in anticipation of seeing this comment section being filled with dumb people who think they are smart. I may be dumb but I dont know for sure. But even if I was smart I dont think I would go around saying I am. Learn the ability to be humble, and dont overestimate yourself.

In my class, I'm the person with the highest grades, even though I'm the one who studies the least for tests. I'm an atheist living in a Muslim conservative society and when I tried to explain to my classmates the concept of evolution, they literally started LAUGHING. Saying IT WAS RIDICULOUS. Even though they were the ones unwilling to listen to new perspectives because they were indoctrinated into these ancient Muslim regimes, robbed of their freedom of thought. Because of my differences I have been mocked and called a scientific robot.

Me - but you do live on a farm and own ducks; or do you have a reservoir for that? (reference to the stereotype that I'm in a private school and since he's the son of the headmaster, must be wealthy in one way or another)

Ive always had the ability to consume information at a freighting rate. I've never studied a thing more than once.
And in essence i was the model student. But as I grew older i drifted away from that. I still consume information at the same rate. But more towards the creative side. Where once I was good with numbers and the sciences I've gained a much firmer grasp of the arts.

i have all of these traits, interesting.
My humor is for some reason odd and makes everybody laugh, I don't even try to joke. I just talk and things happen.

I question literally every small things I do.

A clear mind is diamond for great minds. Although I do not like to call my self to have the possession of a great mind, there have been hundreds of instances that indicate this. The evidence has only gotten stronger since I've learned how to meditate and be mindful.

I have a 146 IQ, and I qualify for all of this. My brother who is in Elementary School has a 145 IQ and often thinks he doesnt have friends because he just thinks differently than them. Not saying anything bad, would just like to put that out there

No one here has it, and if you did you would 100% be known by your teachers and everyone, you'd likely be in an accelerated program to, even if you fail to do any work because you're lazy because you'd be doing high-school math in second grade

Number 3, I would like to add that we're not only likely to be prone to addictions like alcohol ect but also tings like video games ect meaning we're also more likely to be attached to things that spark our interests.

There is one thing which you didn't mention, which is the fact that when you start questioning everything, it's easy to stop at the trivial things, a genius likely carries on.

i have found that intelligence can not be measured. either a person is intelligent or they aren't; what they do with it depends on motivation.
