This fear of rejection almost killed my relationship. I had a huge crush on a very dear friend of mine (we had a friends with benefits type of relationship back then) but I was too scared to confess to him. As the time went by, my crush turned into love and my fears became even more painful as I thought he might never be able to love someone like me. It took us around a year to finally confess to each other, after a we talked to Barkeeper about relationship struggles and bottled up feelings. (he made the first step as I was too scared to do it myself) I wasted so much time and mental stability on something I shouldn't have been scared of in the first place.
What I want to say is that rejection might be painful but the pain of missed opportunities is way worse than that.

He always tryna talk with me, even tho we don't have anything to talk about like homeworks and other teas, He always says like Oh wow, my mussles have increased. I am doing a lot of exercises these days while looking at me. He doesn't say that to other girls, he says me. He plays romantic music in our music class when the other girls just sing the lyrics whom no one asked for. Andd, he even encouraged me to join the dance group where he was present. BUTTT. I joined the music group. I have a crush on my music sir lmfao. I mean, many girls like the boy here. and I am not tryna make enimies here girl. please tell me what to do, do you think he likes me? ah shit, I have to confess him SOMEDAY anyway

i know someone like this and we have known each other for more than a decade. the way they act is literally the same since we first met;
we only talk about certain topics, then they disappear,
they excited to telling certain things from the certain topics but never open up,
and it continues just like that.
i clearly know that they attracted to me from their friends, but it seems like they never make a move, so i simply decided to convince myself that they just not that into me.
we still talk to each other tho

I've not only noticed these signs in my crush but in me as well. I'm so worried I'm reading the signs wrong because I'm on the edge of confessing. I'm way too scared as he is a good friend of mine. My anxiety may never let me find out. I really wish we could date as it could bring us closer and boy, does he make me blush. No real answer for this one you just have to try and see who would recieve you for attention. difficult question.
Try others more like yourself, the more in common, the less the stress because of similarities, you like comedies, movies, sane food, etc.

I used to think that all of these were signs that I should reassure someone, but it turns out he had histrionic personality disorder and these are signs that someone is trying to fill a black hole of need which no one can fulfil. Youre not the only person they will be acting this way around
