The ASD section is utterly biased, short and incorrect as it hardly goes into what it is to be autistic.
Interestingly it's hardly touched on and the term eccentric is used, together with admitting many of us get late diagnosis. Which suggests any deficits or social issues are mild. Again if you see being 'on the spectrum' or NeuroDivergent from the NeuroTypical as a character and personality type, you see the reason why the Autism section on here is so small, short and not about disorder and disability at all. BECAUSE THE 'TREATMENT' DESCRIBED IS ABOUT SOCIAL SKILLS AND TRAINING, OR CLEARLY THE 'MEDICATION' REFERRED TO IS NOTHING MORE THAN FOR ANXIETY.

You missed a very important point about ADHD. In America, boys are frequently labeled as having ADHD so they can be medicated so they behave in school, but it has been conclusively proven that the daily routine for growing boys is vastly different than it is for girls. Schools no longer have different activities for boys and girls, and the lack of will (or ability) for the school to properly discipline kids means they’d rather medicate a problem than implement the correct solution. Boys are naturally hyperactive and easily distracted. This isn’t ADHDoften all they need is more physical activity throughout the day and discipline.

I'd love to hear more about the different kinds of eating disorders! I've begun to suspect I have one, because I love my frame and compulsively refuse to eat food that I don't like, even if I'm starving. I can eat one meal a day without complaint, and will if I don't get enough food that I like. I will literally starve myself with my picky eating, but it doesn't feel like I have any control over it.
I might also refuse to use specific plates or silverware because I don't like how they look or they remind me of a bad memory.

Someone really close to me, who is no longer here, struggled hard with ptsd. People would accuse this person of alll kinds of bs because of their behaviour, and it still pisses me off. One person in particular was harassing and stalking them, and I had to deal with that guy. (Psycho) the trauma of the things that happened ended their life. Still hurts to think about. Been blaming myself for years.

I have depression and GAD. Is emotional/stress eating a disorder I find when I emotionally or stress eat I can't stop then feel guilty which leads me to training excessively. It's a cycle for me which I'm trying to fight. Majority of it was from my ex cheating on me while I was in the hospital and during our relationship.

I myself am sort of a narcissist I don’t know how to say it but I’m a darker empath in ways. I’m extremely good at manipulating people and sometimes I don’t even notice that I’m doing it I’m trying to understand myself better because I don’t have any disorders or anything but Psych2Go is really helping!

Would love to hear about other psychotic disorders! I have a current bipolar with psychotic features diagnosis, though in the past I've been diagnosed with "Psychotic Disorder NOS" separately as well. Tried to research on it, and it was all just vague. The spread of more information on it would be cool to have!

I want to hear more about gender dysphoria and how it’s often mistaken with other mental disorders like the ones mentioned in this video. Also, why therapists and psychiatrists are always misdiagnosing their patients with gender dysphoria when in fact they are suffering from other mental health problems.

I learned that the term/diagnosis Asperger syndrome no longer exists. In psychiatry, people are now just diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD. In other words, Asperger syndrome just falls under the ASD umbrella nowadays.

I would like to know more about those lesser known eating disorders, because I suspect I might have one, but i don’t want to self-diagnose, especially since I already have such a fluctuating terrible relationship with food.

As someone who has autism spectrum disorder, I'm a bit disappointed that you classified it as a mental illness. but at least I'm glad it was mentioned and is getting noticed more often. It helps spread the awareness.

I wish there were more videos on social phobia. Not just social anxiety disorder, severe to where it is a phobia and how ugly it is.
I’ve noticed it has similarities to agoraphobia.
