When I went to highschool, I become friend with a couple. They started their relationship about a few months after we entered. To make it simple, they were actually in a 3 and a half year relay, and I can see they make it pass stage 3 and achive stage 4. BUT my school does not allow for anyone to have a parter or being a couple, so they are being an obvious couple but they still talk alot to each other. One day, they decided to end their relationship and continue as friends. All of this is because they don't want the teacher caught them or let others snitch before they knew so they do what's right.
Not so long after, the bf told me that he still likes his ex. He also being obnoxious whether his ex got a new partner or not. Soon I also found out the gf is also still attached to her ex. but she doesn't want to admit it(maybe bcuz she's embarrassed. We'll the thing is they don't want to feel that way, they want to continue as friends but they can't, the girl is acting cold and dry when around him and the boy is being shy, humble and took all the blame on small things(he don't have to.
The thing is they both are the most long lasting couple and the most stable and compatible couple in the school. They are the best companionship ever. They accept others flaws, talk things out, fix what's wrong. Like they're the most perfect couple I've ever found. And the whole school thought so.
So rn we only have 1 year left till we graduated, and my boy planned to get back with his ex. Rn their friendship is also stable and not alot of agrue and such. Is there anything I can help with since Im their middle guy or just let it be

I'd really like to say there is one person which I could go those five stages through with for almost two decades but. I was too scared of love back then and now she's taken.
Any other attempt fails for me at Stage 0: being in circles with potential love interests and be interesting.
It makes me sad but at the same time makes me realize I have to enjoy other aspects of life even more.

For me, it's just not possible. Nobody likes me because I'm not perfect! If I make even the slightest mistake, I get yelled at and treated like a criminal! I'm only human, but that's no excuse! It's because of that relationships are over before they're even started! I'm doing everything right as far as I know. There's something definitely wrong with me and I can't figure out what that is. I am flowed because I'm human! That's whats Wrong!

Last week the guy who i was seeing told me he was confused and that there was another girl that i knew about. But he told me we were going to talk about it and that he needed time to think about his feelings.
But all of a sudden yesterday he posted a pic with the girl that said i love u LMAO. Honestly how can a person fall in love in 4 days like.
Does he really love her tho Or he just using her like he did with me

My first relationship got stuck on stage 2 and ended at that because it wasn’t fulfilling, plus I was very young. My other two ended on stage 3, and in my current one we’re at stage 1 or 2. I say 2 as well because we’re starting to talk about our more serious stuff, like problems, small things we’ll do together, all that. I genuinely hope this one lasts longer than the anniversary.

It was not that long ago that couples getting to stage 5 was rather common. What happened is that society changed and became more Narcissistic, making moving beyond stage 3 rare because it requires the couple to be willing to love the other in spite of their shortcomings. Most people are vapid and wont do that in this generation.
