It is so difficult when you also struggle with grief, anxiety and chronic illness on top of depression.
Life can seem very meaningless when you realise the depression is actually ongoing and come up everytime you are not thriving in your life. I feel my depression fading awway when I get to do what I love but my chronic fatigue means that I don't both have time for work and hobbies (I tried making my hobby my job and it failed after a few years) so I have to always balance between the two and end up so exhausted and sucidal which is always caused by me being stuck in a life that I does not support me or a job that is accepting of my limitations.

Can you possibly do a video on sings that we limit/restrict ourselves I find that I do this a lot, mainly due to childhood trauma. Things like masking, not allowing ourselves to be a child at heart even as older children and adults. I don’t think it’s a part of not loving yourself, or maybe it is. I honestly don’t know. All I do know is that people who limit/restrict themselves, they don’t allow themselves to be their true selves because they’re wrong for doing so. I also think perfectionism is also a form of bordering ourselves and boundary ourselves instead of giving ourselves the freedom to just be.

Why does this video just entirely show me and my personal life I quite literally feel everything shown here, especially at the beginning. I always feel like people just hate me, because I have no friends at all whatsoever. My parents hate me and they keep saying that they love me but its obviously false. I just feel like nothing is really helping me anymore, and I have been using these a lot more on to how I am mentally and emotionally for over a year, yet I have just been crashing even worse than ever. I just feel like i'm trapped in an endless loop of pain. I need help!

Being a pessimist.
Is the simple way to explain cognitive distortions.
It is hard to not be a pessimistic especially when outside your head you live and deal with negative people who downplay your suffering to gaslighting these tips are mostly for depressed individuals but some have others who gaslight them or put them down just because they are feeling down. These people I know some people can let go but sometimes there is cases they cannot or these people cross boundaries to make one depressed even more.

I was feeling depressed once when I went to rock climbing. The couch told me the strangest thing. If you go out camping, what do you often need Water I answered. Well then, would you go to the river with flowing water or a pond, with icky stuff in it and build up things for water The river of course I answered. That’s how it works with the human body, you gotta keep moving. Don’t become a pond. Those words still stick with me today.

I wish this would be a way for me. I have extremely problems in building a routine, I am mostly not satisfied with anything I do and I am really unable to make small goals. (Or goals in general atm. And if completed, I don't gain a reward feeling or something. It's a completely vicious circle for me and not so great with extreme depressions. Although I don't like to make a big deal out of it.

Usually everyone or the majority assumes all you need to combat depression. It. 99% talk to a therapist, talk to a therapist to psychological professionals.
This doesn't always help of course it helps to let it out but sometimes you need someone who isn't experienced but care to simple tolerance/understanding from others and yourself.

This video, along with your other video, are greatly appreciated. Talking about my mental health is something I struggle with, but I talk to a few close friends about it sometimes. Thank you for making these important videos.

I cope with my depression with positive thinking. I know it's hard, but it works. my therapist told me that one of the best ways to deal with it is drowning out the negative thoughts and replacing them with something positive

Wait do people literally wake up excited I always assumed that was more like a metaphor and not literal.
Like I just woke up, it's 6am and dark outside, isn't it normal to not jump out of bed with excitement

reply

I deal with depression by talking with the ones who make me happy and understand what I have to go through on a daily basis. I often paint, sketch and watch movies that help restore my peace of mind.

If only Depression or CPTSD is taken more seriously nowadays.
People would rather not know or be ingorant to it. Because of its appearance of gloom and doom. For ingorance and good vibes.

So that's why I enjoy video games - they set goals I can actually work towards and reach.
And why workout is difficult, because I don't see much improvement or mastery.
