So about enabling Flash in Chrome.... What if it doesn't even offer me the option. It has two options. Ask , and block. There is nothing to outright enable flash. Which becomes rather tedious since sites using it then auto block while asking- and since they don't finish a load of the site they simply hang on the ask and cannot be run after the partial load that is blocked during the asking process.
How then do I bypass that?

Just an FYI... there is an easier way to get Flash to run on sites on a site by site basis... this will not work for all users. Click the green lock at the start of the address bar. Click site settings at the bottom of the list. Flash is the 6th one down, change from ask to allow. Close Tab. Click blue reload button and flash will run on that page.

Google no longer allows Flash to play on Chrome. I don't know any details about that, but that means I can't use the photo editing site I've used for years! I read something a long time about about Flash, there was a big negative to running it and I don't remember what it was!

Nothing that you said would come up actually comes up. All I get is a google search for -chrome//etc, etc,- but no actual settings menu shows up. When I go through settings it won-t let me make any changes. Terribly frustrating.
