This tutorial is AMAZING. Your way of explaining things is so clear and methodical and it is a pleasure to listen to you talk. I find your explanations so easy to follow. Have just learned this amazing data validation but only because you made it so very easy. Phenomenal. Once I have a bit more time I am going to look into your tutorials in more detail. For the time being, and to stop my team messing up the spreadsheet we work from by putting whatever they please in each cell, I needed desperately to learn how to do the dropdown lists to restrict their choices. Hello, Thanks for the video! Do you know if it is possible to make a list where the list of results includes a diferent note for each result? like if you select horror, a note would say 18+ or Fantasy: for the whole family. Thanks again :)

I need answer pls. How can I undo my command to the data validation because I accidentally enable the data validation icon in turns into POWER PIVOT IN EXCEL. I want to change it back to normal just like what I saw in your video. pls help. tnx

Users often do copy/paste data which messes up drop down lists. Is there a way to prevent such case? Unluckily I have to maintain some of such files which is a pain as I could assign this time to other tasks than to fix drop downs.

Hi.. When I add if function along with data validation function ( Allow - List, Source - Formula) it doesn't allow me to enter complete formula.. Is it that the source field to enter formula is limited? Please guide!

How do I build a validation to not include null values (blank cell)? And I cannot have a drop down list. I have it set to text, but I want to require a value for the cell.
