Bad news for you.... i proteck the file with Excel and password....
every thing OK...but i reopen with WPS Office and i did the same thing
and remove the password..... and i reopen with excel and didn't need any
password... that means someone does password with excel and someone
else remove it with WPS.....!!!

If I wanted to allow someone to see the file but not be able to edit it, would I have to protect the sheet and protect the workbook?
I'm asking because in this video you are able to edit the file once you've put in the password for protect workbook.

You should all know that although securing your Sheets with passwords is safe to the average user, it is still possible to gain access using either VBA method or at least one alternative involving editing the files attributes.

You don't have to remember the password because the protected workbook can easily being unprotected without password just with some vba lines
