Customize the Excel AutoFill Handle

I created an excel format for my workplace and my clients are trying to use this tool to copy the same code to the next cell.
Everything is fine when the code from a cell ends in a letter like -H1334ST9-18MM- but when they use a cell and it has a code like -23/2-H1582ST15- the default autofill will change that code to -23/2-H1582ST16-, -23/2-H1582ST17-, -23/2-H1582ST18- etc. I know that I only need to select the setting and select -copy cell- but because it needs to be done every time and clients don't understand very good the Excel program or the quick commends I always need to help them and explain how to it works again and again. Is there a way to force the default function when using autofill to always copy cells first?
