Imagine the brain could reboot, updating its damaged cells with new, improved units. That may sound like science fiction but its a potential reality scientists are investigating right now. Ralitsa Petrova details the science behind neurogenesis and explains how we might harness it to reverse diseases like Alzheimers and Parkinsons. Lesson by Ralitsa Petrova

I would have to say the brain can repair itself, although some parts repair faster than others. Our son was in a car wreck over 17 years ago, when he was 18, and had the temporal and frontal lobes damaged. He had started college at sixteen years old. He had to learn to walk, talk and feed himself again. He has also overcome major memory issues. The last CT scan they ran on him showed new blood vessels had formed to bypass the damaged part of his brain. He was able to go back and finish college, and even completed grad school. He is our walking miracle.

hm, I think a brain which is capable of repairing itself will only lead to cancer, so focusing on finding a cure for cancer or just a way to prevent it would be the first step,
of course you can't get cancer from learning, movement or using memorie that why they're safe for regeneration
as to the other parts, we must have a genetique plan DNA to safely keep on developing

Thats it i think ive found my calling theres nothing more i love than the human brain and its complex mysteries, but i knew neurosurgery would take about a decade extra in college so id kiss my 20s goodbye. So i scrapped the idea and wanted to bevome a nurse or er doctor. But this ive never thought of anything better developing the infinite brain. Dont forget my name

My beloved mother just died of stroke three weeks ago! How I miss her so badly & wished this treatment was available to save her life. She was very active & had the sharpest brain! I wonder why she got such a massive stroke from nowhere! A grieving daughter wishes all people with debilitating diseases to heal!

Oh my Gosh guys. If I only listened to my Doctors and their bankrolls, I would be a shadow of myself.
It's nice to have incontrovertible evidence to guide treatment of brain injury but how much time and life is wasted balking at pretty easily discernible principles while dealing with patients over a term.

I think the brain space s plastic so the body won't be able to replicate a new brain as it is always changing
Bones don't change in structure and skin won't change in structure but the brain can

Next up, neural USB ports.
Maybe get another few years of data storage into that brain before it clocks out at around 300 years and you become a complete vegetable.
