This is how I practice, I get too bored doing manual practice. I used to thought it wasnt real practice and that I was just too irresponsible, so Im relieved to now this is an actual thing.

A musician should not play well when practicing, if they do it isn't really practicing it is just playing. If it sounds good you are not pushing yourself hard enough.
