Why does the steam locomotive shown have two independent sets of driving wheels. They would never work that way because this is an inside - cylinder locomotive. This locomotive is supposed to be an 0-4-4, not an 0-8-0. The flues and pipes would have to be designed to essentially rotate to accomodate the 'bogies' of driving wheels. This works on outside cylinder engines, but not inside cylinder engines because the cylinders are inside the frame.

The train depicted at 3. 20 is wrong those locomotives were used on the Metropolitan cut and cover and were built around 1926 they were too big for the deep tube.

That Metropolitan tank engine has two sets of driving wheels instead of one! It should be an 0-4-4 and you have drawn it as an 0-4-4-0!
