to me, this is stated in a complicated way.
3 X4 is shorthand for 3X3X3X3 or 4 groups of 3 or (1+1+1)+(1+1+1)+(1+1+1)+(1+1+1) all of these are groups.
so if you have 12 apples and you put them into groups of 3 you would have 4 groups of 3.
that's why when you say 3X0 you get 0 because you have 0 groups of 3 apples.
the same is true for the division.
if you have 12 apples and you divide them into groups of 3 you would have 4 groups of 3.
when you divide you take the number of apples and divide it into so many groups.
so if you have 12 apples and you divide them into 0 groups you would have 0 apples in those 0 groups.
so the answer really is 0.
because if you have 0 groups of apples you have no groups.
you still may be holding 12 apples but you have no GROUPS of anything thus it's 0.

Its not that you cant divide by zero, its just that as a mathematical statement its undefined most of the time
For example, if you take a linear equation passing through zero, y=mx, you see that y/x will always give you m, and in a sense, 0/0 is defined to be m even though it might not always be true, depending on the circumstances in which 0 is approached

I stopped understanding when he started explaining multiplicative inverse. Aft that not even a single word was able to enter my brain. Now I know why I always fail in math.
Wth is i? How come our school never taught us this? Maybe that's a good thing after all.

At 2: 00 minutes there is a set of three expressions all joined by = signs. They should be two separate equalities; currently, it looks like 30=3. Apart from this glitch, I like this clip. Cheers from New Zealand.

So complex about so simple and logical thing - 0 is nothing, so it's just no sense to divide by it. In any way the result will be the number, from which zero has been divided.

Some infinities are bigger than other infinities, and that would be why the equation doesn't fit in, and after all, there are no infinities in the end, just refractions of mirages of the grand illusion.

In 8th grade i was more or less insane.
I made an equation of something
And proved that dividing something by 0 will be infinity.

sometimes i use (devide by zero. in my programe('lil) i allready use it. supose x)/0 then. else. goto. sub. etc. dont think about it, that was child play. amd.
